Medical Nutrition Therapy Concentration

In addition to a series of core supervised practice rotations, MS/GCPD students complete the MNT concentration rotation. The MNT rotation helps students ubild an advanced depth of knowledge in one practice area aligned with the strengths of our partner sites.

Graduates from our MS/GCPD programs are regarded as highly skilled and competitive that pursue careers in trauma and acute care settings, pediatrics, disease prevention, and medical nutrition therapy. Strong links to UW Medicine, Harborview Medical Center, and Seattle Children’s Hospital also allows students to benefit from these world-renowned research and teaching facilities while completing the clinical components of the program. Additionally, four maternal and child health traineeships are available for GCPD students or credentialed RDNs.
