Beth Ogata is a Registered Dietitian at the University of Washington’s Institute on Human Development and Disability. Her clinical responsibilities include providing care for individuals with metabolic disorders at the Cristine M. Trahms Program for Phenylketonuria and the UW Biochemical Genetics Program. She also sees infants and children in the Infant Development Follow-up Clinic and Late and Moderate Preterm Babies Clinic. Beth supervises nutrition and interdisciplinary fellows in the LEND (Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disorders) program. Her faculty appointment is through the Department of Pediatrics, and is Clinical Faculty with the UW’s Food Systems, Nutrition, and Health Program. Beth worked on the development of nutrition management guidelines for metabolic disorders, served as co-chair of the committee to develop SOP and SOPP in pediatric nutrition, and has held numerous leadership positions with state and national organizations.
