Security
- Most photos are privately stored in SmugMug and require an admin login to view them. All staff members have access to the login which is shared in the third-party-account-logins document (above).
- Lori will occasionally select a small number of photos to be made available for the public on SmugMug for public events, or photos that represent student life or program activities.
What’s Stored in SmugMug?
- Faculty, staff and student portraits
- Event photos
- Historical archive photos
- Photos sent to us from members (either events, conferences, etc.)
- Any photo that has value to save as part of the program archives is appropriate to add.
Adding Photos
- If you have acquired a photo that you feel is appropriate to store in our photo archives, you may log in to SmugMug and upload it.
- Look for the most appropriate folder to place portrait photos.
- If you create a new album for a unique event, add as a gallery, and ensure permissions are set to private or unlisted.
- For all photos added, include names and dates of who is featured in the photo. This helps locate images by name using SmugMug search.
